Build muscle routines are much different then your typical workout routine because their goal is different. Many people workout because they want to lose weight. Try to up your weight to double that or more. See how much weight you can handle, then lift just below that. You also shouldn’t worry if you are extremely soar after your workout. Most body builders have a high LBM because they have a lot of muscle, little fat, but still a lot of weight. If you are trying to achieve a higher LBM you have probably run across some information that is less then true. Here are a few common mistakes that people make when building lean muscle.
First off, the way you workout has a big effect on the type of muscle you build. Lowering the amount of weight you lift, and increasing the repetitions does not help you achieve a higher LBM.
